FRANCE, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 1-0 win against Nantes on January 17, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Lille this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov in the 57th minute.
AS Monaco remains in fifth place with 39 points from 22 games, one point behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
