Ligue 1 (Week 11) : Lyon beats Toulouse 3-0
FRANCE, Oct. 23, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 11: After their 1-1 draw against Monaco on October 16, “Les Gones” bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Toulouse this Friday.
Lyon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Sergi Darder in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Valbuena Mathieu '69 and Cornet '90).
Olympique Lyonnais climbed to fourth place with 19 points from 11 games, 2 points behind Caen.
