Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Lorient beats Toulouse 3-2
FRANCE, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against GFC Ajaccio on December 1 and 0-0 draw against Nice on December 1, Lorient bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Toulouse this Saturday.
Benjamin Jeannot scored dual goals
Toulouse had started off well by taking the lead in the 41st minute with a goal by Cameroonian defender Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Lorient players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Jeannot '47, '48 and Mesloub '76).
Lorient climbed to 7th place with 25 points from 17 games, tie on points with OGC Nice.
