Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Angers beats Lyon 2-0
FRANCE, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: After their 0-0 draw against PSG on December 1, SCO returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Lyon this Saturday.
Ndoye Cheikh scored dual goals
Angers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Senegalese midfielder Ndoye Cheikh in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, SCO further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ndoye Cheikh with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Angers SCO climbed to second place with 30 points from 17 games, 15 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
