Ligue 1 (Week 20) : Monaco and GFC Ajaccio play out 2-2 draw
FRANCE, Jan. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 20: Monaco was held to a 2-2 draw by GFC Ajaccio on Saturday.
GFC Ajaccio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Boutaïb ('9) and Tshibumbu ('31). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Monaco with goals by Fabinho ('51 on penalty) and Ricardo Carvalho ('73).
AS Monaco are down in third place with 33 points from 20 games, one point behind Angers SCO.
