Ligue 1 (Week 23) : Guingamp beats Toulouse 2-1
FRANCE, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Guingamp. After their 1-0 win against Bastia on January 23, Guingamp continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Toulouse this Saturday.
Guingamp dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Younousse Sankharé in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Guingamp players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Briand in the 72nd minute.
Guingamp climbed to 14th place with 27 points from 23 games, only one point behind Bastia.
