Ligue 1 (Week 22) : Monaco beats Toulouse 4-0
FRANCE, Jan. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 0-2 win against Lorient on January 17, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory over Toulouse this Sunday.
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Silva ('27) and Coentrão ('36). Leading 2-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Carrillo Guido '70 and Costa Helder '90).
AS Monaco remains in second place with 39 points from 22 games, 21 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
