FRANCE, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 23: After two straigth victories against Troyes and GFC Ajaccio, Rennes lost 4-0 against Bordeaux.
Cheick Diabaté scored dual goals
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Malian forward Cheick Diabaté in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Diabaté '51, Rolán '67 and Touré '90).
Rennes are down in 6th place with 34 points from 23 games, 2 points behind Caen.
