Ligue 1 (Week 21) : Rennes beats Troyes 4-2
FRANCE, Jan. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 21: After their 2-2 draw against Lorient on January 9, Rennes bounced back with a 4-2 victory over Troyes this Saturday.
Fallou Diagné scored dual goals
Troyes opened the score in the score in the 7th minute thanks to Fabien Camus, before Rennes regained the advantage with Diagné ('21 on penalty, '39 on penalty) and Dembele Ousmane ('28). Leading 3-2 at the break, Rennes players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Grosicki with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Rennes climbed to fifth place with 31 points from 21 games, 2 points behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
