FRANCE, Jan. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 21: Caen crashed to their 3rd consecutive defeat as they lost 3-1 against Marseille.
Marseille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (N'Koudou '60 and Sarr '83).
Caen are down in 6th place with 30 points from 21 games, one point behind Rennes.
