Ligue 1 (Week 26) : Lyon defeats Caen 4-1
FRANCE, Feb. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 26: Three wins in a row for Lyon. After their success against Bordeaux and Angers, “Les Gones” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-1 victory over Caen this Sunday.
Lyon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Umtiti ('8), Lacazette ('16) and Cornet ('45). Leading 3-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tolisso with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Olympique Lyonnais climbed to third place with 39 points from 26 games, 6 points behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
