Ligue 1 (Week 30) : Lille defeats Bastia 2-1
FRANCE, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 30: Two wins in a row for Lille. After their 2-0 win against Reims on March 5, Lille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Lille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Sofiane Boufal in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Amadou in the 59th minute.
Lille climbed to 9th place with 40 points from 30 games, only one point behind Nantes, which has a game in hand.
