FRANCE, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 30: The match between Lorient and Marseille ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Lorient players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Waris Majeed in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Marseille with a saving goal from Chilian midfielder Isla Mauricio in the 46th minute.
Olympique de Marseille climbed to 9th place with 39 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Nantes, which has a game in hand.
