Ligue 1 (Week 35) : Marseille and Nantes play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Apr. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 35: The match between Marseille and Nantes ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Nantes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cameroonian defender Nicolas Nkoulou into his own net in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Marseille with a saving goal from Marseille midfielder Florian Thauvin in the 49th minute.
Nantes remains in 10th place with 45 points from 35 games, one point behind Caen, which has a game in hand.
