Ligue 1 (Week 37) : Bordeaux beats Lorient 3-0
FRANCE, May. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Bordeaux. After their 2-4 win against Troyes on April 30, Bordeaux continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory over Lorient this Saturday.
Cheick Diabaté scored dual goals
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to goals from Malcom Filipe ('12) and Diabaté ('21). Leading 2-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Diabaté in the 48th minute.
Bordeaux climbed to 11st place with 49 points from 36 games, tie on points with Montpellier HSC.
