Ligue 1 (Week 15) : Rennes beats Angers 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Rennes. After their 2-1 win against Nantes on November 25, Rennes continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Angers this Wednesday.
Angers had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by forward Karl Toko Ekambi. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Rennes players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hunou '51 and André '84).
Rennes climbed to 8th place with 21 points from 15 games, tie on points with Montpellier HSC.
