FRANCE, Nov. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 15: After losing 1-0 to Caen on November 25, Bordeaux bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Saint-Etienne this Tuesday.
Alexandre Mendy scored dual goals
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mendy ('5) and Malcom Filipe ('31). Leading 2-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Mendy in the 57th minute.
Bordeaux climbed to 9th place with 20 points from 15 games, tie on points with Montpellier HSC, which has a game in hand.
