Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Saint-Etienne hold Nantes to 1-1
FRANCE, Dec. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: Nantes was held to a 1-1 draw by Saint-Etienne on Sunday.
Saint-Etienne players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Saint-Etienne midfielder Vincent Pajot in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Nantes with a saving goal from Argentine forward Emiliano Sala in the 61st minute.
Nantes remains in fifth place with 27 points from 16 games, 2 points behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
