Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Nice defeats Metz 3-1
FRANCE, Dec. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Nice. After their 1-2 win against Toulouse on November 29, Nice continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Metz this Saturday.
Nice midfielder Alassane Pléa opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Metz catch up in the 29th minute thanks to Nolan Roux. 1-1 at half time. Nice eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Balotelli ('56) and Saint-Maximin ('71).
OGC Nice climbed to 12nd place with 20 points from 16 games, tie on points with Bordeaux.
