FRANCE, Aug. 8, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Nancy on August 1, Dijon returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Laval this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Dijon midfielder Romain Philippoteaux on penalty in the 49th minute.
Dijon FCO climbed to fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Gazelec Ajaccio and AJ Auxerre.
