FRANCE, Aug. 9, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: Nimes was held to a 2-2 draw by Valenciennes on Saturday.
Valenciennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Valenciennes forward Anthony Le Tallec in the 43rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Coulibaly goal ('81) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Nimes with dual goals from Nimes forward Anthony Koura ('64 and '83.
Nimes Olympique remains in fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Gazelec Ajaccio and AJ Auxerre.
