Ligue 2 (Week 5) : Dijon beats Sochaux 1-0
FRANCE, Aug. 29, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Dijon. After their 1-0 win against Auxerre on August 23, Dijon continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Sochaux this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Dijon defender Cédric Varrault in the 75th minute.
Dijon FCO climbed to second place with 11 points from 5 games, 2 points behind Troyes AC.
