Ligue 2 (Week 8) : Nancy beats Tours 2-1
FRANCE, Sep. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Nancy. After their 2-5 win against Chateauroux on September 19, the Thistles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Tours this Tuesday.
Mana Dembélé scored dual goals
Nancy dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Malian forward Mana Dembélé in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Thistles further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Dembélé in the 60th minute.
AS Nancy-Lorraine climbed to third place with 13 points from 8 games, 3 points behind Troyes AC.
