Ligue 2 (Week 2) : Brest defeats Nimes 2-0

FRANCE, Aug. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: After their 0-0 draw against Auxerre on July 31, Brest bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Nimes this Friday.

Brest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Bryan Pelé in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Grougi on penalty with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Stade Brest climbed to fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Dijon FCO.
