FRANCE, Aug. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: After their 0-0 draw against Ajaccio on July 31, Dijon returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Niort this Friday.
Julio Tavares scored dual goals
Dijon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cape Verdean forward Julio Tavares in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dijon players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Diony '79 and Tavares '90).
Dijon FCO climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind US Creteil.
