Ligue 2 (Week 2) : Lens and Red Star play out 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Aug. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: The match between Lens and Red Star ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Red Star players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Sliti Naim in the 21st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lens with a saving goal from Lens midfielder Mathias Autret in the 73rd minute.
Lens are down in 10th place with 2 points from 2 games, tie on points with Evian and Clermont Foot.
