Ligue 2 (Week 4) : Metz beats Creteil 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 4: Three wins in a row for Metz. After their success against Sochaux and Valenciennes, Metz continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Creteil this Friday.
Creteil had started off well by taking the lead in the 5th minute with a goal by forward Sacha Clemence. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Metz players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bussmann '56 and Lejeune '65 on penalty).
Metz climbed to first place with 10 points from 4 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Clermont Foot.
