Ligue 2 (Week 5) : Metz defeats Evian 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 5: Four wins in a row for Metz. After their success against Sochaux, Valenciennes and Creteil, Metz continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Evian this Saturday.
Metz dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Yeni Ngbakoto in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Metz players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lejeune in stoppage time.
Metz remains in first place with 13 points from 5 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up AS Nancy-Lorraine.
