FRANCE, Sep. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 6: Five wins in a row for Metz. After their success against Sochaux, Valenciennes, Creteil and Evian, Metz continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Laval this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Zambian forward Emmanuel Mayuka in the 73rd minute.
Metz remains in first place with 16 points from 6 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up AS Nancy-Lorraine.
