Ligue 2 (Week 6) : Brest beats Lens 2-1

FRANCE, Sep. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 6: After their 1-1 draw against Paris FC on August 28, Brest returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Lens this Monday.

Brest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Congolese forward Kévin Koubemba in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Battocchio Cristian in the 65th minute.

Stade Brest climbed to fourth place with 11 points from 6 games, only one point behind AS Nancy-Lorraine.
