Ligue 2 (Week 4) : Laval defeats Red Star 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Laval. After their 2-3 win against Auxerre on August 14, the Tangos continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Red Star this Friday.
Red Star had started off well by taking the lead in the 16th minute with a goal by Sliti Naim. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Tangos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Alioui '65 and Malonga Chris '85).
Stade Laval climbed to fifth place with 7 points from 4 games, tie on points with AS Nancy-Lorraine, which has a game in hand.
