FRANCE, Nov. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against Niort on November 27 and 1-1 draw against Ajaccio on November 27, Lens returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Nimes this Monday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Argentine forward Pablo Chavarria in the 62nd minute.
Lens climbed to 10th place with 23 points from 17 games, tie on points with FC Bourg-Peronnas, which has a game in hand.
