Ligue 2 (Week 17) : Valenciennes and Ajaccio play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Dec. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 17: The match between Valenciennes and Ajaccio ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Ajaccio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Panyukov Andrei in the 15th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Valenciennes with a saving goal from Malian midfielder Sigamary Diarra in the 54th minute.
Valenciennes FC remains in 15th place with 18 points from 17 games, 2 points behind US Creteil.
