Ligue 2 (Week 25) : Red Star defeats Sochaux 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Red Star. After their 2-1 win against Le Havre on February 2, L'Étoile rouge continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Sochaux this Friday.
Sochaux had started off well by taking the lead in the 7th minute with a goal by Teikeu Adolphe. Trailing 1-0 at half time, L'Étoile rouge nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Makhedjouf Florian '60 and Ngamukol Anatole '87).
Red Star FC remains in fourth place with 42 points from 25 games, one point behind Metz.
