FRANCE, Apr. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 32: Two wins in a row for Valenciennes. After their 0-3 win against Laval on March 18, the Athenians continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 1-0 victory over Evian this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Da Costa Nuno in the 57th minute.
Valenciennes FC climbed to 14th place with 36 points from 32 games, 4 points behind AC Ajaccio.
