Ligue 2 (Week 31) : Valenciennes beats Laval 3-0
FRANCE, Mar. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 31: After losing 3-2 to Le Havre on March 11 and 0-1 to Brest on March 11, the Athenians bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Laval this Friday.
Valenciennes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Da Costa Nuno in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Athenians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Nguette '75 and Diarra '84/penalty).
Stade Laval remains in 14th place with 35 points from 31 games, 5 points behind FC Bourg-Peronnas.
