Ligue 2 (Week 21) : Laval beats Auxerre 4-1
FRANCE, Jan. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 21: After losing 1-0 to Nancy on January 8, the Tangos returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Auxerre this Friday.
Auxerre had started off well by taking the lead in the 26th minute with a goal by forward Gaëtan Courtet. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Tangos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Viale '52, Mukiele Nordi '57, Malonga Chris '64 and Chafik '70).
AJ Auxerre remains in 9th place with 29 points from 21 games, tie on points with FC Bourg-Peronnas.
