Ligue 2 (Week 22) : Red Star defeats Laval 2-0
FRANCE, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 22: After their 0-0 draw against Tours on January 15, L'Étoile rouge bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Laval this Saturday.
Red Star dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Makhedjouf Florian in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, L'Étoile rouge further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bouazza Hameur in the 57th minute.
Red Star FC climbed to fifth place with 35 points from 22 games, tie on points with Le Havre AC, which has a game in hand.
