Ligue 2 (Week 22) : Metz beats Creteil 2-1
FRANCE, Jan. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 22: After losing 2-1 to Valenciennes on January 18, Metz bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Creteil this Friday.
Christian Bekamenga scored dual goals
Creteil had started off well by taking the lead in the 39th minute with a goal by Malagasy forward Andriatsima Faneva. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Metz players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bekamenga '55, '80).
Metz climbed to third place with 36 points from 22 games, 5 points behind Dijon FCO, which has a game in hand.
