Ligue 2 (Week 21) : Niort beats Sochaux 3-2
FRANCE, Jan. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 21: After their 2-2 draw against Dijon on January 8, “Les Chamois” returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Sochaux this Friday.
Sochaux had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Cisse Sekou ('2, '45), while Niort only scored once Teikeu Adolphe ('40 own). Trailing 2-1 at half time, “Les Chamois” nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Tigroudja '48 and Koné '79).
Chamois Niortais FC climbed to 13rd place with 24 points from 21 games, 2 points behind Stade Brest, which has a game in hand.
