Ligue 2 (Week 33) : Red Star beats Ajaccio 2-1
FRANCE, Apr. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 33: After losing 2-4 to Paris FC on April 4, L'Étoile rouge bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Ajaccio this Friday.
Ajaccio had started off well by taking the lead in the 43rd minute with a goal by midfielder Johan Cavalli on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, L'Étoile rouge nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bouazza Hameur '56 on penalty and Fournier Remi '90).
Red Star FC climbed to fourth place with 55 points from 33 games, tie on points with Le Havre AC.
