Ligue 2 (Week 33) : Sochaux beats Laval 2-1

FRANCE, Apr. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 33: After their 0-0 draw against Evian on April 1 and 0-0 draw against Nimes on April 1, “Les Lionceaux” returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Laval this Friday.

Sochaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Karl Toko Ekambi in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Lionceaux” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sao in stoppage time.

Stade Laval remains in 15th place with 35 points from 33 games, one point behind Valenciennes FC.
