FRANCE, Oct. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Valenciennes. After their 2-4 win against RC Strasbourg on October 1, the Athenians continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-1 victory over Niort this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Enza Yamissi Eloge ('57), Ciss ('86) and Nestor ('88).
Valenciennes FC climbed to 6th place with 17 points from 11 games, only one point behind Troyes AC.
