Ligue 2 (Week 11) : Brest beats RCS 2-1
FRANCE, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 11: After their 1-1 draw against Ajaccio on September 30, Brest returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over RC Strasbourg this Saturday.
Sacko Ihsan opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Brest catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Battocchio Cristian penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. Brest eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Maupay in stoppage time.
Stade Brest climbed to first place with 22 points from 11 games, one point ahead of runner-up Amiens Sporting Club.
