Ligue 2 (Week 12) : RCS beats Auxerre 2-1
FRANCE, Oct. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 12: After losing 2-4 to Valenciennes on October 15 and 2-1 to Brest on October 15, RC Strasbourg bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Auxerre this Friday.
RC Strasbourg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Khalid Boutaïb in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, RC Strasbourg players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Guillaume with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
RC Strasbourg Alsace climbed to 10th place with 17 points from 12 games, tie on points with Gazelec Ajaccio.
