Ligue 2 (Week 13) : RCS defeats Sochaux 2-1
FRANCE, Oct. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for RC Strasbourg. After their 2-1 win against Auxerre on October 21, RC Strasbourg continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Sochaux this Saturday.
RC Strasbourg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Khalid Boutaïb in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, RC Strasbourg players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Blayac with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
RC Strasbourg Alsace climbed to 6th place with 20 points from 13 games, 2 points behind Troyes AC.
