Ligue 2 (Week 15) : Auxerre and Lens tied at 1-1
FRANCE, Nov. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 15: The match between Auxerre and Lens ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Lens players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Lopez Cristian in the 41st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Auxerre with a saving goal from Auxerre forward Gaëtan Courtet in the 80th minute.
Lens climbed to fifth place with 23 points from 15 games, 2 points behind Le Havre AC, which has a game in hand.
