Ligue 2 (Week 18) : Red Star hold Valenciennes to 2-2
FRANCE, Dec. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 18: The match between Red Star and Valenciennes ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Red Star players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Mendy Formose ('33) and Bouazza Hameur ('37). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Valenciennes with goals by Roudet Sebastien ('73) and Ndao Lamine ('90).
Valenciennes FC remains in 11st place with 23 points from 18 games, one point behind Gazelec Ajaccio.
