Ligue 2 (Week 22) : Nimes draw 2-2 with RCS
FRANCE, Jan. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 22: The match between Nimes and RC Strasbourg ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Nimes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Nimes forward Sada Thioub in the 39th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Diabaté goal ('79) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by RC Strasbourg with goals by Lienard Dimitri ('58) and Baptiste Guillaume ('71).
RC Strasbourg Alsace climbed to fifth place with 33 points from 21 games, only one point behind Reims.
