Ligue 2 (Week 21) : Nimes beats Lens 3-1
FRANCE, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 21: After two straigth victories against GFC Ajaccio and Tours, Lens lost 3-1 against Nimes.
Nimes dominated the first half thanks to goals from Briancon Anthony ('32) and Sissoko Slimane ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Crocodiles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Savanier in the 66th minute.
Lens remains in second place with 35 points from 21 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest, which has a game in hand.
